YEAR 6
We have a new teacher called Mrs Avery who joined the school in
January.
Year 6 is a very important year. Our teacher has high
expectations of both our work and our ability to be brilliant role
models to the rest of the school. We enjoy our numerous
responsibilities around the school including being class monitors,
ambassadors, assembly monitors and feeding the fish. We work
really hard and know the importance of trying our best, while having fun
along the way! We are also learning important life skills to
prepare us for the next part on our life journey – our next school.
This term we are involved in constructing a shelter, made out of willow,
on our school field. This exciting project, which began in Year 5,
will take several weeks to complete and the resulting willow structure
will be enjoyed by everyone in the school.
